E-MODE is aiming at helping the Adult trainer with an integrated set of methods and skills in designing, developing and evaluating their own modules and materials and also in using the contemporary applications of ICT in this process.
The foreseen results and products of our project are :
A general review and knowledge of the trainer's potentials, attitudes and practises in developing their own educational material and modules and the use of ICT in this process. Specifically, the above phase, results at the development of : Questionnaires to Teachers and Trainers as a reflection and not assessment instruments, National and Comparative Reports, investigating Adult Trainers' Attitudes and potentials and also Related Good Practices identified and valorised in each partner country.

A Toolkit comprising 3 Methodologies for the development and use of educational modules and materials in various training delivery modes, on the basis of participatory, collaborative and interactive methods. Methodologies concern design, development and evaluation of educational modules, materials (on the principles of open, distance and blended learning), multimedia material and interactive scenario creation.
A virtual learning environment and a first version educational material for the training of adult educators produced on the basis of instructional design principles, open and distance education principles, collaborative and participatory methodologies. Also a Train the trainers' tutors workshop, in order to properly prepare and instruct the tutors on the educational methodologies, the contents and the electronic environment of the 3 pilotings.
Piloting Sites in Turkey, Bulgaria and Greece! The pilot applications refer to mixed training programs (face to face meetings and distance learning) and will be held and evaluated through transnational group and project work.
Validation and finalisation of the Educational material, incorporating the necessary modifications coming out of the pilot applications. Also country specific Integration guide of the produced innovation.
A Quality Management Plan and Final Evaluation Report determining the project's development.
Daily project management and scientific coordination of the project.
Dissemination and exploitation activities such as: Overall and Country specific dissemination and exploitation Plans, the Project's Web site, 4 Newsletters, Publicity and Networking Actions. Exploitation and sustainability actions will produce: National Thematic Workshops for Adult Educators, Round tables for Key actors, Valorisation and Sustainability Assessment Report and the E-MODE Final Conference.
The fact that the partners of the project are in constant and open dialogue with the local and national policy makers -or they are co-developers of educational policy in their country, and the multidimensional networking tools of the project, expected to develop the required synergies in the triangle 'system - organization - individual', guarantee that its results will have a significant impact after the end of E-MODE project.
These actions aspire to continue and deepen the social and political dialogue on the trainers' key competences and to progressively lead to the necessary institutional interventions that are required in order for these competences to be assessed and become part of the knowledge body and skills array of every adult trainer.
